“1000A1” is a jewelry store in the Seybold Jewelry Building in Downtown Miami, designed for a talented jewelry designer looking to stand out in a competitive retail environment. The first step was to rethink the store layout, which previously made it difficult for customers to comfortably explore the space. We opened up the floor plan and introduced clear zones for browsing, trying on pieces, and completing purchases—creating a more intuitive and welcoming flow. Each showcase was custom-designed to blend seamlessly into the space while drawing attention to the jewelry itself. By combining display cases with functional workstations, we created a setting where the designer could both engage with customers and present her collection with confidence. To highlight the details of each piece, we developed a tailored lighting plan. Carefully chosen fixtures and strategic placement allow the jewelry to sparkle, while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the store. The result is a functional, visually striking space that supports both retail experience and creative expression, giving the designer a store that feels as unique and refined as her work.
