FAQs

Everything you need to know before getting started

I start by asking what isn’t working before I ask what you like. Colors and finishes come later. The first real questions are about how you actually use the space: whether you host often, what you already own that has to stay, what’s felt off in homes you’ve lived in before. That’s what keeps the result from turning into a generic showroom look.

You’re involved in key decisions, but you’re not managing the process. I structure everything clearly and present options in a way that makes decisions straightforward, so your time is respected and nothing feels overwhelming.

Communication is structured from the beginning. You’ll know what’s happening, what’s coming next, and when decisions are needed, so the process stays clear and predictable.

Your home is treated with discretion and respect at every stage. Anyone involved in the project is aligned with that standard, so your space, your time, and your privacy are always handled appropriately.

I take on a limited number of projects at a time, so you get real attention instead of a rotation between a dozen active jobs. You’re also working directly with me on direction and decisions, not handed off to a junior designer once the contract’s signed.

Four stages: a discovery call, a paid on-site consultation, an exploratory phase to define the real scope and budget on larger or construction-involved projects, then the full design agreement, where the actual design gets developed and executed. Each stage has a clear start and end, so you always know what phase you’re in.

I stay involved in guiding the design and ensuring everything remains aligned with the original direction. Execution is handled by the contractor, while I focus on maintaining clarity and consistency throughout the process.

We start with a $499 consultation to understand your project. From there, fees depend on the scope, size, and complexity of the work, and I’ll walk you through the specifics once we know what you’re working with. Nothing moves forward without a clear, upfront agreement.

No. Everything related to design services is clearly outlined upfront, and any changes or additions are discussed before moving forward.

Revisions are a natural part of the process. They’re handled in a structured way so the design stays aligned while the project continues to move forward.

The process is designed to stay organized and flexible. You’ll receive clear updates and defined decision points, so everything continues to move forward even when you’re not physically present.

Most bad experiences come down to scope creep, no one telling you what happens next, or decisions getting made without you. Scope changes here go through a separate agreement instead of getting quietly folded into the original one, and you’ll always know what phase of the process you’re in and what’s needed from you next.

Start by booking a discovery call. From there, we’ll determine if it’s a good fit and move into the on-site consultation to define the direction and next steps.

Every project is different, so investment varies based on the scope and scale of the work. We start with a $499 consultation, and from there I’ll walk you through what’s realistic for your specific home and goals. Most of my clients are undertaking full-scale, high-end renovations and furnishing projects, and the investment reflects that level of work.

Yes. Many of my clients are within the LGBTQ+ community, and I understand what it means to want a home that reflects who you actually are, not a generic idea of what a home should look like.

I work with clients across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and the surrounding South Florida area.

I take on full home renovations, full furnishing and design projects, large-scale remodels, and new construction. Project type matters less than scope and investment: every engagement starts at a $15,000 design fee, whether that covers one room or an entire home.
