Interior Designer on Las Olas

Las Olas condos come in two kinds: older buildings with great bones and dated interiors, and new residences handed over as a clean shell. I design both.

A Las Olas condo I designed

In Jackson Tower, I worked on a full renovation of a roughly 3,000 square foot condo for a client who hosts a lot. Anthracite kitchen cabinets, dark glass, lighting layered for quiet nights and full rooms, and a balcony done in greenery and earthy textures, in the spirit of Tulum.

Jerry Purcell, the owner, put it simply: “The space is exactly what I envisioned. It feels bold, elevated, and completely me. I’ve been hosting ever since.” See the project

What a Las Olas condo usually needs

  • A layout that works for hosting in a footprint that wasn’t planned for it
  • Lighting in layers, because the overhead fixtures most buildings come with are rarely enough
  • Storage worked into the design, since closets in older buildings tend to fall short
  • A balcony that feels like part of the home, with furniture that survives the weather

New on and around Las Olas

New residences keep going up nearby, from Andare on Las Olas Boulevard to Sixth & Rio on the New River. If you’re buying new, bring me in before closing so the design is ready when the building is. Most of the new towers are on the beach, and I cover them on my Fort Lauderdale Beach page.

If you live here part time

Plenty of Las Olas owners split the year with somewhere else. I handle the design while you’re away, with presentations over video and clear updates, so you’re not making decisions from an airport lounge.

When you’re ready, start with a discovery call.
