Interior Designer in Victoria Park

Victoria Park homes have something condos don’t: room to spread out, a yard, often a pool, and enough walls to actually hang art. That’s more to design, and more to get right.

A Victoria Park home I designed

For this private home, the living room is built around a double-height fireplace in textured stone, framed with warm wood paneling and lit shelving for the owners’ art. The home office got dark wood and built-ins, and the dining room a black table with upholstered chairs to soften it.

Andy Orozco, the owner: “Working with Benjo felt easy from the start. He brought ideas that fit exactly what we were looking for and kept everything moving without us having to get involved in the details.” See the project

What a Victoria Park home asks for

  • Tall rooms that need furniture and lighting at the right scale, or they feel empty
  • Indoor and outdoor living that should read as one space, especially by the pool
  • Art and personal pieces planned in from the start, not added at the end
  • A home office you actually want to work in

Older houses, added to over the years

A lot of Victoria Park homes have grown in pieces. Part of my job is making the old and new parts feel like one house, with flooring, finishes, and lighting that run all the way through.

Minutes from Las Olas and the beach

Victoria Park sits between downtown, Las Olas, and the beach, and most of my local work is a few minutes from here. Comparing neighborhoods? See Las Olas and Wilton Manors.
